Battle-Ready Performance & Self Defense is a unique training system that we have developed throughout thousands of hours of hands-on experience with our athletes. Our program is influenced by our experience with kids, professional athletes, martial artists, and emergency service workers; all while keeping in mind real-world application.
Our goal is to create a life style consisting of healthy habits built on a foundation of functional fitness, diet, and self defense. We believe that every human being, despite their age or gender, should have a basic understanding of these skills. We believe that improvement within your fitness directly translates to improvement in yourself.
When it comes to martial arts, we believe that everyone should have a sound self-defense base. We have integrated self defense basics from striking and grappling into a simple and effective program for everyday people. You don’t need to train like a professional fighter to have a basic understanding of how to protect yourself in bad situations.
If you fail to plan… plan to fail. Every person will have a unique program built to their specific needs; the correct balance that you require between “general physical preparedness” and self-defense training.
I am an involved father in the community. I have watched my children as well as other children bullied. I have seen adults bullied, some I care deeply about. I have been bullied. I have struggled with low confidence and insecurities. The programming and techniques taught at Battle-Ready Are always taught and created with bullying in mind.
We will improve your daily performance. We will give you the tools you need to help you with your daily struggles… whatever they may be. Whether you want to feel better or safer, or you want your child or spouse to, Battle-Ready is for you.
I believe in what I coach, because I practice what I coach...
Every. Single. Day.
I can’t lead you if I don’t practice what I preach.
My Name is Derek Noonan, this is Battle-Ready.
